4. AI Processing and Uploaded Photos

When you upload photographs, you provide consent for us to process those images using artificial intelligence systems to generate personalised illustrations.

Uploaded images:

• Are used solely to create your preview and final book
• Are not used to train artificial intelligence models
• Are not sold or used for advertising purposes
• Are processed only as required to generate your personalised product

You confirm that you have the legal authority to upload any images submitted, including photos of children.

5. Data Retention

Raw Uploaded Photos:

Original uploaded photos are deleted within 30–45 days after the estimated delivery of a physical book, or within 30 days of a paid preview if no physical order is placed.

If no preview is paid and no order is placed, uploaded images are deleted within 72 hours.

Realism-Style Generated Images:

If realistic rendering styles closely resemble the original uploaded photo, those generated images are treated similarly to raw uploads and deleted within 30–45 days after delivery.

Stylised / Illustrated Generated Images:

Stylised or cartoonised illustrated versions that are not photographic or realistically reversible may be retained for up to 12 months to allow reprints and customer support.

Order Records:

Transaction records and required billing data may be retained as required by applicable accounting and legal obligations.

6. Data Sharing

We share personal information only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our business, such as:

• Hosting providers
• Printing and fulfilment partners
• Payment processors
• Email and marketing platforms
• Analytics providers

These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services and are required to safeguard your data.
